A Super-Quick Wasabi Vinaigrette

A great little taste of Japan, this is excellent with napa cabbage, bean sprouts, fresh herbs, bitter and sweet greens, rare seared tuna, sticky rice, or fresh, cool greens over hot noodles. Whenever you want an explosion of flavor with a Japanese flair, try this one.

Makes about 1-1/2 cups

4 teaspoons water

2 teaspoons wasabi powder

4 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

2 cloves garlic, smashed and diced

2 teaspoons soy sauce

2 teaspoons Asian fish sauce

2 tablespoons diced green onions

2/3 cup canola oil

1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
